Welcome to my website!

 I was born and raised in Newport, Rhode Island but I know South Florida well. I have lived in South Florida since the 1970’s. I first came to Miami to attend the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida and then went to work in the real estate business there for almost 10 years as a Associate-Broker in Miami doing residential and commercial real estate. I left the real estate brokerage business for a career on Wall Street for 20 years as a Senior Vice President for Paine Webber, Smith Barney and Prudential Securities. After that, I created my own NASD firm, Narragansett Bay Securities, which I owned and ran for 10 years. After taking time off and living in my house in the Bahamas and almost 9 years in my place in Panama C.A., I came back to Florida to do what I know well, real estate. Finding a great deal in the marketplace for customers or that perfect purchaser for a seller is what I enjoy best. Finding the perfect match is always a challenge. While living in Miami and Panama, I learned a bit of Spanish which will help with my Spanish-speaking clients. I had a farm in Panama where I was growing 3000 fruit trees. Because my workers could only speak Spanish which was great practice for me. In the 90’s, I took a working year off with the wife and 3 kids while I was in the investment business on my 41 foot sailboat and cruised the coast of southern Florida and through the Bahamas as well (I managed a multi-manager Fund at the same time). My kids took a correspondence course during this time on the boat. All their college essays on their college applications, years later, were written about that adventurous year. I have a deep love of sailing, having owned several large sailboat cruisers and growing up on the water in Newport, R.I. I raced on small boats and on 12 meter yachts (Wall Street Challenge Cup)… I would like to be able to help my boating clients with my experience as a boater/cruiser. No deal is too large for me or too small. The challenge of putting the right buyer and seller together has always been a gratifying challenge for me. I try to put myself in the buyer or seller’s position and then imagine what they want. Then I make it happen.
